Family Beach Activities on Bembridge Beach

Join our lovely volunteers from
Bembridge Sailing Club on Bembridge Point Beach, off Embankment Road to enjoy some Family Fun. There's some car parking just beyond the Harbour View Cafe and the Water Taxi will be running from the Duver Pontoon, Bembridge Marina and Fishermans pontoon (summon by phone: 01983 872828 or VHF Ch 80 - call sign "Bembridge Harbour), or ask at the Harbour Office - open from 09:00 (fares apply).
Beach Games and Races from 09:30
Everyone can join in the beach games, with races in different age categories (including any energetic parents, grandparents and friends ... come on, you know you want to!). Running races, egg & spoon, sack races and a wet and noisy Family Bucket Relay to finish …!!
Sandcastle and Sandsculpture Building Competitions
Please Register with the beach team to enter
either the
Sandcastle or the
Sandsculpture Building Competition - the tide will be on its way in so it's best to build high up the beach! Prizes will be awarded in both categories.
Final Judging of Sandcastles and Sculptures will be from about 10:45 or a bit later if people haven't finished ...
