Best Decorated Boat Competition - Saturday 3rd August

We invite all boats, visiting or resident in the Harbour, to take part in our Best Decorated Boat Competition    

This year's Family Fun Weekend Event Theme is "Flying High", which gives plenty of scope for boat decorating.   The more colourful and quiry the better, or, if you're short of time, flying some flags or lighting up with fairy lights would be wonderful!

Registration
Please register your entry, including the name of your design, at the Berthing Office and don't forget to include your boat name as well as your own - crew and/or family groups welcome!

Best Decorated Boat Judging
Judging will take place on Saturday 3rd August  from 1500 - judging will be by the Commodores of Bembridge Sailing Club and Brading Haven Yacht Club who will be afloat on board the Harbour Launch Helena, with a possible "walk-about" on the pontoon too. 

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded at the Harbour Party which is a ticketed charity fundraiser starting at 1800 on Saturday evening.   We hope you're going to join us, but if you can't be there just let us know and if you've won a prize we'll save it for you and present it on Sunday morning instead.

Fancy Dress Competition
Come to the Harbour Party, on Saturday evening at the Duver Marina, in Event Themed Fancy Dress and you'll be in the running for winning a prize.  Our theme of "Flyingt High" offers plenty of scope for imagination and creativity.  The theme can also be a gentle reminder of the sigificant problem of plastic in our oceans so feel free to include anything you've found washed up that can be recyled or re-purposed afterwards.

Tickets to the Harbour Party are £10 per adult, £5 for 5 to 15 year olds, and free for under 5s (but they will still need a ticket), available online: Harbour online booking.
