Toilets and Showers

The Duver Marina visitor toilet and shower facilities were completely refurbished in 2020 as an inclusive mixture of combined toilet and shower cubicles as well as separate units.  This upgrade is ahead of a new facilities block being built over winter 2023.   Disabled facilities are available on request.

These facilities are for the use of resident and visiting berth holders only, with the toilet facilities also available to general customers including Steve's Bar and the Duver Cafe.  Entry is by a number code - provided on registration at the Berthing Office (or available from the Bar and Cafe).

DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED - please use the dog "parking" hooks available outside.  A dog "wash-down" area and tap are provided at the top of the slipway for ridding paws of sand and mud.     


Free WiFi is available to Harbour visitors  

Please obtain the code from the Berthing/Harbour Office on arrival.

Galley Locker 

The "Galley Locker" in the Berthing Office stocks an increasing range of essentials such as milk, tea, coffee, ice, soft drinks, ice-creams etc, and a selection of Isle of Wight produce (including delicious locally grown asparagus when in season!).  We're excited to have extended the range of Island produced wines, beer, ales and spirits - all of which have passed a staff taste test ...(Challenge 25 is in force).

Dogs

Well behaved dogs, with responsible owners, are very welcome on Harbour property, but they must be kept on leads please - in all areas but especially on the pontoons.   PLEASE DO NOT take them into the shower/toilet facilities (there are hooks just outside to park them on).  A designated dog wash-off area can be found at the top of the slipway.

There are fabulous walks all round the area just waiting to be explored and enjoyed.  The nearest dog waste bin is situated on St Helens Duver, just outside the Duver Marina entrance gates.   

Marquee and BBQs

Our larege marquee provides shelter when needed for Duver Cafe and Steve's Bar customers (unless being used by a private booking).   The Marquee and BBQ units are  available for hire separately or in various packages - please apply to the Berthing Office for details 01983 872828 or mail@bembridgeharbour.co.uk.

Disposable BBQs are not permitted anywhere on Harbour property.    

Waste Removal

There are waste bins for general domestic waste available at all shoreside facilities as well as separate Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR) and glass bins to ensure as much waste as possible is recycled.  If you have any comment, query or complaint, please contact the Harbour Office (The Duver, St Helens, Isle of Wight PO33 1YB.  Email: office@bembridgeharbour.co.uk)

In order to reduce marine pollution, and as per SI 1809 of the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Port Waste Reception Facilities) Regulations, all waste is to be disposed of in the correct waste bins provided on site before heading to sea.  General waste disposal costs are incorporated within berthing/mooring fees.  If you have any specific waste removal requirements please contact the Harbour Office (tel: 01983 872828 office@bembridgeharbour.co.uk) for further information.

The BHA Port Waste Management Plan is available on request from the Harbour Office.

String Bag Campaign

Our String Bag Campaign is aimed at helping you to help us keep our local environment as plastic free as possible.   The Galley Locker has a supply of string bags that you can borrow if you are going for a walk.  Simply collect any discarded or washed-up plastic, especially from beach areas, and bring it back to be put in the recycling bins.  NOTE: please be careful and look out for  broken glass or anything sharp, and don't pick up anything that looks too nasty!  Also please don't forget to return the String Bag to the Galley Locker ready for some more collecting ...    

Laundry

There are currently no laundry facilities at the Harbour - a laundry facility will be part of the new facilities to be built at the Duver Marina over winter 2023, ready for the 2024 season.  We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.
