Water Taxi

Our water taxi service operates on VHF Channel 80 or telephone 01983 872828 ext 2.

Available to all Harbour users and visitors, our licenced water taxis are based at the Duver pontoon, with various drop off/collection points around the Harbour - Bembridge Point Beach (next to the Harbour View Cafe and Bembridge Sailing Club), Fishermans pontoon, Bembridge Marina and Brading Haven Yacht Club.

During the main summer months of July and August water taxis operate between the hours of 0830 and 1930 (water allowing) 7 days a week and later during Harbour events.  Timings may vary.

Fare (single):

15 years and over - £3.00
3 to 15 years - £1
Under 3 years - free of charge
      
Lifejackets are carried on board and are available on request.  Maximum number of passengers (including infants): 9

Taxis may be made available at other times by prior arrangement.

From October through to March a restricted service may be offered - please check in advance with the Berthing Office for timing and availability.
